A/N: Double drabble.
Spring in Sunnydale, not too hot and not too cold. Perfect weather, in fact, the kind of weather that made you want to be outside, enjoying the blossoming trees, listening to the birds singing happily in the branches overhead…
Buffy stared gloomily out the window; instead of being out and about, she was stuck in class, and honestly, when was she ever going to need history? Of all the subjects in school it had to be the most useless. Who cared what a bunch of people who were now dead had done with their lives a few hundred years ago?
It was the last class of the day, and she’d thought it might be nice if she and her buds could go somewhere, maybe for an ice cream or something, but instead Giles expected her in the library as soon as school was out, where she’d train and do her homework before spending the rest of the evening patrolling.
Turned out demons liked spring as much as humans did. Some species would be coming out of hibernation, unsurprisingly demons preferred heat to cold, while others would be getting ready to spawn little demons.
Looked at that way, spring really sucked.
