Donna: Well, mine was with a giant spider, but, same difference.

Poor Donna. Encountering "hostile" alien insects again.

I couldn't agree more!

Maybe the Doctor could bring a portable insect trap in one of his trench coat pockets.;)

A sequel is unlikely. Me writing anything at all is unlikely. My laptop is practically dead and I'm trying to use a mini laptop with the new version of windows on it. I hate everything about it, and I hate MS Office, I can't find anything I need and I can't download anything either.

On top of that I have no heat and I'm freezing.

My friend is trying to revive an old laptop to make it workable. As for the heating, I've been told I have to burn kiln dried wood instead of coal to keep the chimney from blocking again, and that it must be totally dry, but I have nowhere to store a huge load of wood to keep it dry! Plus I have no idea how much it's going to cost. Or how much I'll need to burn each day.

My life is sheer hell.

Man. That sounds like a big challenge. I wish there was someone that could give you assistance and/or financial support. I can only give you my concern.:(

If only I could provide you with some of the heat I'm experiencing.*sighs*

I've got the fire going burning wood, but it's burned through 8 logs in the last hour, there's no way I can load enough wood in to keep it going overnight, and every time I open the door to put more wood on a load of sparks escape, which freaks me out. I'm going to have to light the fire at least once a day and cleaning it out is going to be a nightmare. Meanwhile, the house is still freezing.

That's tough. It sounds like you have to wear clothes for the snow. I use a sleeping bag during the winter nights.:(

I'm almost at the point of using a sleeping bag during the day to keep from freezing,
