It was ridiculous; Dee felt like a teenager again, head over heels in love. It had been awful in a wonderful, self-torturing way, pining over Ryo day after day as they worked together, spending every minute he could with the man of his dreams, living for every stolen kiss or surreptitious grope, anything to fuel his fantasies. But now Ryo was his and he was walking on air.
He could scarcely wait to get to work, feeling a tingling thrill go through him at the thought of seeing his lover, even though it had only been a matter of hours since they were last together. Maybe they’d get to steal a kiss or two, out of sight of prying eyes. Or knowing Ryo, maybe not, but still… This evening, after work, they were having dinner. Maybe there’d be a whole lot more than a few kisses if he played his cards right.
What mattered was that Ryo loved him and wanted to spend time with him away from work. It made all the months of yearning worthwhile.
He wondered if Ryo was feeling equally giddy at the thought of spending the day together.
