A/N: Double drabble.
Making coffee for the team was an art. Like Ianto, Jack took his black, but industrial strength, with two sugars while Ianto had his completely unadulterated, the better to savour the full richness of the beans.
Tosh liked hers with just a dash of soy or almond milk and a half-teaspoon of sugar.
Owen liked sweet and black for a hangover, white with three sugars the rest of the time.
Gwen’s preference was for either a hazelnut latte with extra foam, or mocha, depending on the time of the month. She kept a sugar stash in her desk so she could add as much or as little as she wanted.
Ianto prided himself on producing a perfect cup every time, tailored to each of the team’s preferences. Well, except when meting out deserved punishment. Cheap instant decaf wasn’t worth taking pains over.
A couple spoonfuls of powder, a splash of water just warm enough to dissolve it, a dash of milk to cool it further… If the recipients wanted sugar they could get it themselves.
Maybe in future Owen and Jack would think twice about throwing the ketchup bottle to each other at lunch. The stains were never coming out.
