A/N: Double drabble.
“I’m sorry!” Ryo said, yet again.
“It’s fine, babe, could’a happened to anyone. Just forget it.”
That was probably a poor choice of words considering it was Ryo’s forgetfulness that had gotten them into this mess in the first place.
“I really thought I’d parked in this section, but maybe I’m remembering the last time I was here, dropping Bikky off.”
In all the times Ryo had been to the airport, either dropping someone off or picking them up, he’d never lost his car before, but the short stay parking lot was immense, packed with vehicles of every colour, make, and model; it was like looking for a particular needle in a pile of similar needles.
“Don’t worry about it,” Dee said again, determined not to make Ryo feel any worse than he already did. “It’s here somewhere; we’ll find it. Besides, it feels good to stretch my legs after bein’ stuck in economy for so long. Those seats have zero legroom.” He was just arriving back from escorting a prisoner across country.
“Maybe we should split up to look,” Ryo suggested. “We could cover more ground that way.”
Dee shook his head. “Think I’d rather stick with you, babe.”
