Summary: Ryo’s recovery from injury isn’t going as well as it should.

A/N: Double drabble.
The itch was almost intolerable, making Ryo frown and fidget in his seat.
“You okay, bud? Shouldn’t still hurt should it? Thought you were healin’.”
“I was. I am.” Ryo smiled wryly. “It’s just been itching like crazy since the dressing was changed.”
Ryo was recovering from a stab wound to his side; it hadn’t been deep but it was in an awkward place, and the stitches pulled whenever he had to reach for anything. He was on desk duty at present and would be until the stitches were removed, which wouldn’t be for a few more days at least since he’d managed to pop one this morning while fixing breakfast. That had led to a doctor’s visit before work to get it seen to.
“I’m no doctor, but that much itchin’ doesn’t sound right.”
“I was just thinking the same thing. I’d better take a look.”
“I’ll go with.” Dee followed Ryo to the locker room.
As soon as Ryo untucked his shirt the source of the itching became obvious; the skin around the dressing was inflamed with an itchy rash.
Dee winced in sympathy. “Looks like you’re allergic to the tape the doc used.”
Ryo sighed. “Lucky me.”
