A/N: Double drabble and a half, 250 words.
The man beside him in the bed slept peacefully, and so did the boy, sprawled untidily between them, but Ryo was still wide-awake. He couldn’t stop thinking about the shameful way he’d behaved earlier, coming on to Dee, all but throwing himself at his partner. What had he been thinking? Had he even been thinking at all?
He’d wanted to feel something; after everything he’d learned from Leo Grant he’d been so cold and empty inside, desperate for something to take the emptiness away, and Dee had been there, so warm and solid, a comforting presence…
Ryo could have just asked Dee to hold him, he was sure Dee would have willingly done that much, given him a shoulder to lean on. But in his self-disgust at not being able to end the life of the man who’d been responsible for his parents’ death, Ryo had offered his body up for Dee to use any way he wanted. He’d seen himself as worthless and in wanting to punish himself for his failure at avenging his parents he’d made something sordid out of Dee’s feelings for him.
‘I deserved that slap. Hell, I deserved a lot worse. Dee’s been way kinder and more understanding than I have any right to expect after what I did. He could have taken what he wants from me, but he didn’t because he’s not the kind to take advantage, he’s too good a man. I would have let him though. What does that make me?’
