Summary: Dealing with the Rift’s latest gift could be a bit of a problem.

A/N: Double drabble.
As Rift events went, this was a seriously major one; Tosh’s computers were going crazy, shrilling out alarms as data filled her screens, and she sifted through it at lightning speed, trying to gather as much information as she could on what had just come through. It was safe to say it was something significantly bigger than a breadbox.
“What can you tell us, Tosh?” Jack asked as the rest of the team hurriedly geared up. Since she was pregnant the tech expert would be remaining in the Hub, keeping in touch with her teammates via their comms.
It’s big, but it’s not alive and unless it’s of a type we haven’t encountered before, I don’t think it’s any kind of technology.”
“That rules out a spaceship, which is good,” Ianto said. “Probably not an invasion force. Could you send the coordinates to the SUV?”
“Already done.”
When the team reached Hailey Park they could only stop and stare; the thing was massive, almost twenty feet tall.
“Maybe we can convince people it’s always been there,” Jack said hopefully.
Ianto disagreed. “A statue commemorating the Elvis Presley comeback tour of 2257 might be stretching people’s gullibility a bit too far.”
