Dee had lived with sexual frustration for years, waiting with as much patience as he could muster for Ryo to finally accept the truth about himself and hopefully accept Dee’s love. The wait had proven worthwhile and since he and Ryo had finally gotten together life had been as close to sheer bliss as it was possible to get, short of actually living together.
Sure, they had their fights and misunderstandings; what couple didn’t? And okay, so Ryo had a lower sex drive than Dee but they were both learning the fine art of compromise in that respect. At the end of the day all that really mattered was that they loved each other and wanted to be together, sharing everything, the bad as well as the good.
Only now Dee’s sexual frustration was back with a vengeance and it was worse than it had been before he’d won Ryo’s heart. At least back then he’d had the option to get his satisfaction elsewhere, pick up a stranger for a one-night stand. He’d never actually done it but he’d always known he could if he wanted to because although his heart had belonged to Ryo even then, they hadn’t been a couple so technically it wouldn’t have been cheating.
Damn FBI Agent Diana Spacey to hell and back for persuading Ryo to skip off to DC for six weeks to assist the Bureau in breaking up a human trafficking ring. She’d needed someone who spoke fluent Japanese but didn’t look Asian, and naturally she’d immediately thought of her good friend Ryo. Never mind that it meant she’d be stealing Dee’s lover away and leaving him high and dry! Knowing her, that was probably the main reason she’d picked Ryo, just because of how much it would annoy Dee. The Sea Hag was an evil witch!
It was a great career move for Ryo though, and Dee had known he couldn’t stand in his lover’s way, so Ryo was gone, probably having the time of his life, and Dee was on his lonesome, missing his baby and not getting any lovin’, having to make do with fantasies and his increasingly overworked left hand.
Three weeks in, three more to go, and when Ryo did eventually make it home to New York, Dee was going to pounce on his baby so fast they’d be in bed before Ryo knew what hit him!
