While we had some good drying weather last week I decided it was time the soft toys I finally got back from storage last year had a good clean. They were stored in bags but were still dusty and looking bedraggled.

The certainly brighten the back garden up...

Dear lord! Did they multiply when they were hanging on the line? :)

Nope, still the same number I hung out, lol! That's three washer loads, and I still have so many more to wash...

You seem to have a whole platoon of ducks there! There must be a story behind that.

I like ducks! All kinds of birds really, I have an ostrich, a flamingo, kookaburras, a bald eagle... But I really like ducks a lot, there are a load I haven't even washed yet, the pink ones, blue ones, purple ones... We used to have a couple of real ducks. Lovely birds.

I don't even know where half of my stuffies came from. I know mum bought a lot of them, but I'm responsible for more than a few myself. Soft fluffy things are an irresistible temptation!

Don't worry, out place is much the same with teddies. Most are now in storage in the garage but there's still a spare bedroom full of them. You can't sleep in there, that's for sure!

I have teddies too, I just haven't ashed them yet. So far it's just been ducks, 31 Dickie Byrds, an ostrich, a goose, a seal, a panda, a gorilla, half a dozen sheep, three sunflowers, and my oldest teddy bear Goldie. Oh, and a yellow dinosaur called Smiley. I'm washing them by colour in case they're not as colour fast as they should be.

I've been frantically rearranging things in an attempt to make space because I have about 8 or 9 big bags full of assorted stuffies and I have no idea where to put them all. I'm glad to have them home, but they do take up a lot of space.

Perhaps your teddies would make room for someone to snuggle among them. It would be very cosy!
