Summary: Ianto takes his first turn at the negotiating tables.

A/N: Double drabble. Set in my ‘Ghost of a Chance’ ‘Verse.
They’re back at the negotiating tables again, this time at a small space station in the Gallus Confederation. It’s off the beaten track, and most of the people here are locals looking to send their wares somewhere they’ll make a better profit than they would in system.
With their cargo ship, Jack and Ianto are ideally equipped to handle such ventures. Not many independents come out this far so most cargoes are handled by the big transportation corporations, for equally large fees, or by relatively green local crews trying to get some experience under their belts. Quite frankly, the Happy Wanderer doesn’t have much competition.
Ianto takes the lead in negotiations; it’s his first time, after spending the last few months listening to Jack handle deals with potential clients, but he’s ready, he knows what to do, and he does a good job. He can feel the approval radiating from Jack, seated beside him.
Within three hours, they have enough cargo to fill all their holds, and five merchants who’ll likely have more business for them in future if they pass this way again.
“You did well,” Jack tells him as the head back to their ship.
Ianto smiles, content.
