Dee scowled down at Dick the dachshund, sitting patiently waiting to go walkies. Yeah, patient, right, but did the mutt have to sit on his foot? Every damned time! At least he’d already put his boots on so there wasn’t a warm, furry butt on his bare foot.
“You’re gettin’ dog hairs all over my pants again,” he grumbled.
Dick just wagged his tail.
Dee turned his scowl on Ryo when his lover dared to laugh. “Some help you are!”
Ryo grinned. “He likes you, Dee. You make him feel safe. What’s wrong with that?”
“Where do I even start?”
