I already have the balloons strung up outside, waiting a bit before putting the batteries in the lights and getting them up. Most of the other decorations are in place... I'm getting there!

I did! I was worried at first, but I think somewhere between 30 and 40 in the end over a 4 hour period.

I am utterly exhausted today though. I hurt all over.

Still tired, I had to get up early again. I booked to have my gutters cleared and was told they'd be here sometime between 7.30 and 9.30 in the morning *headdesk* He got here at 7.50.

I would love to have our gutters cleaned. Last time it was done, I did it. Mom doesn't like me on ladders much though sooooo.

Two storey house, me with no ladder, and scared of heights... Had no choice but to pay and it turned out they were practically clear anyway. Can't remember the last time it was done. Not this century, that's for sure!

I can't blame your mum, I get scared seeing a complete stranger up a ladder!

I love climbing. Ladders are not my favorite thing to climb though - I prefer trees.

Trees are wonderful, I just don't usually climb them, although I'm trying to demolish an overgrown leylandii at the bottom of the garden that's blocking sunlight from the garden, and I've been climbing ladders and standing on branches to saw off higher branches. I need a taller ladder though.

There is a tree at the local park where I walk Merlin that is begging me to climb it. It's now too cold to do that. Maybe next spring!
