Ianto dug in his bag one-handed, trying to find the book he’d promised to lend his sister.
“I don’t know how I’ve ended up with so much junk in here,” he sighed, digging deeper. “Jack probably emptied his pockets into it or something. Hold these for a minute, would you?” He shoved several items at Rhi.
“What the hell?”
Belatedly Ianto looked at what he’d given to Rhi; a set of Weevil clamps, one of Owen’s tennis balls, what looked like Gwen’s hairbrush, Tosh’s new scarf, and his missing ruler.
“Huh, so this is where everything’s been disappearing to, and I think I know why.” Ianto dipped his hand into the bag again, pulling out something purple, black, and fluffy. He stared sternly at it. “Just as I thought. What have you been up to?”
“Hum.” It was an oddly apologetic little sound.
“I should think so too, taking things that don’t belong to you and hiding them in my shopping bag!”
“What is that?” Rhi stared at the small creature.
“Dizzy. It’s a Flufflet, Nosy’s first offspring.” Ianto shoved that into Rhi’s hands too while he found the book.
“It’s adorable!”
“Not when it plays hide-and-seek with our things!”
