Halloween Pendants

Oct 21, 2019 20:24

Every Halloween I like to offer the kids a little extra something along with their candy. I had intended to knit some little critters, but I was busy with other things and I never got started, so I decided to whip up a few pendants instead. I got a little carried away... Anyway, I promised a friend I'd post pictures, so here they are.

Those all turned out really awesome! I like how the thickness of the cord is different for the hematite ones. It really makes it look good.

They needed something more sturdy than the charms did. Not that they're all that heavy, it's just for the look.

Thank you!

Yeah, hematite is a sturdy-looking stone and seems to be heavier than it actually is. :)

I have a pretty hefty tumbled piece and I really know it if I drop that on my foot, but the pendants are reasonable lightweight, most of them less than an inch in length, so they're comfortable to wear.

I think those are the ones the boys are likely to go for because they look "tough" *Grins*

Quite possibly =)

Let me know if you or your mum want one of anything!

Mum says they're all lovely, thank you for thinking of her, and she would love a fish if they're not too heavy to wear. I told her I didn't think they would be, but I would ask. And I have to admit to fondness of the hematite kitty *Grins* Thanks for thinking of both of us.

They're not heavy at all so your mum should be fine. Any preference on bead colour?

No problem, I have several, hematite kitties. Thought you might like that! I can pop them in with your Christmas pressie if you don't mind waiting a bit. I'll probably send that early this year, lol!

She wears a lot of reds, oranges, yellows, blues, and browns if you have something that would work with any of those colors.

That works perfectly. :) Saving on postage is always a good thing.

I'll see what I can come up with!

All in one parcel means only one post office trip too =D

And the less time around the post office, the better *nods*
