Ha, ha! I think Owen needs to take a break--he's clearly working too hard if he missed that. Good thing detail-oriented Ianto was on the case as well. :D

Yay--another series from you with fun titles, a la the "Elusive/Adhesive Butterfly" series. I can't wait.

In Owen's defence, it's the middle of the night and he wasn't looking at the number of legs, that didn't occur to him. He was looking for a more obvious clue, it wasn't the only swan there.

Not quite a series as it only has two parts. So far. I suppose it's always possible that will change. The other part, though, is part of my second run at the challenge so you'll have to wait to see what happens until I finish posting my first run. Probably, I should have posted this one last but... Well, obviously I didn't, lol!

Actually, this one started off as an accidental second fill for the Swan/Purple square - the fake swan was originally purple - until I realised that the shape shifting alien idea had been penciled into my Swan/Deception square. I was going to leave it, but then I would have had to come up with another idea for the square so I gave it three legs instead. A tripod swan, lol!

Thank you.

LOL! Sure Owen hasn't been drinking on the job? Hard not to notice 3 legs...

I don't know, it's night in a poorly lit park, several swan's mingling - would you be counting their legs to see if any of them had extras? It's not the first thing that would come to my mind and in a group, it often looks like they have the wrong number of legs anyway, lol!

There was no guarantee that the alien WAS pretending to be a swan. It could have been impersonating a duck or a goose, or it might not even have been there anymore. That's the trouble with shape shifters, you don't have any idea what you're looking for. Ianto of course notices details like that. ;)

Thank you.

So is mine, but Ianto (my version anyway) has perfect eyesight and sees everything!

Thank you.

He does try, but counting legs isn't something he does automatically. Should we be worried that Ianto notices immediately? Does he count legs everywhere he goes?

Thank you.
