A/N: Double drabble.
“Why here?” Dee asked, gazing critically around the firing range.
“Because there’s plenty of space, and no furniture to get in the way.” Ryo slipped out of his jacket, draping it over one of the shooting stations before removing his shoes and socks. The tiles were chilly beneath his feet but he knew he wouldn’t notice that for long. “Don’t just stand there; get ready!”
“You’re the boss.” Dee discarded his jacket and footwear.
JJ, Ted, Drake, and Marty did likewise.
“Okay, line up, not too close together or you’ll hit each other.” Ryo stood in front of his friends, his back towards them. “Now, just copy what I do.”
Going down to the firing range to put in some practice, the Chief opened the door and stopped dead in his tracks.
“What the hell is this; startin’ your own dance troupe, Randy? Thought I’d seen everything this job could throw at me, but…”
“It’s called Tai Chi, Sir,” Ryo said. “It’s good for flexibility, balance, and overall fitness. We’ve all suffered injuries recently so it seemed like a good idea.”
“Huh. Well make room for me.” Chief Smith joined the end of the line; more flexibility wouldn’t go amiss.
