I liked the thought of Ianto not having a clue that he still falls asleep in odd places, and that Jack knows all about it. The whole fic developed from Jack finding Ianto asleep in the lift.

awwww loved it! you were quite creative in thinking about the different positions but when I read about Ianto sleeping on the shelf, it came the idea of a vampire!

Jack was so cute with him and even cuter when he did not reveal a thing!

Jack's good at keeping secrets, he didn't want Ianto to feel embarrassed so didn't tell him.

Ianto's an archivist, he thinks shelves are a great invention and rather useful. *giggles* now I'm imagining Ianto archiving vampires in neat rows on shelves, filed by date, or maybe by height, lol!

I love it when Jack takes care of Ianto like that, and he does it just because he loves him. Although, if he fell asleep that fast maybe Owen should check Ianto for narcolepsy! LOL!

I don't know how long it takes the lift to reach the surface, but I figured Ianto probably hadn't got any sleep for a couple of days at least, he was already nearly asleep on his feet so he just leaned against the wall and closed his eyes for a moment and nodded off before the lift got to the top.

Jack will always take care of Ianto, just like Ianto takes care of Jack, and he'll let Ianto go on believing that he's grown out of falling asleep in odd places.
