A/N: Double drabble.
After months of wavering over whether he should risk their friendship by allowing himself to become involved with Dee on a more intimate level, Ryo had finally gotten up the nerve to take a leap of faith and they’d become lovers. Honestly, despite Dee’s declarations of love Ryo had half expected their relationship to fizzle out within a few weeks once Dee actually got what he’d been after practically since they met, but if anything their feelings for each other had only grown deeper over time.
That was why Ryo was here now, about to take another massive leap of faith by committing himself to the man standing beside him for the rest of his life, no longer simply lovers but husbands.
Would they last the distance or would their marriage end in divorce like so many seemed to these days? There was no way of knowing in advance; surely every couple who decided to wed expected to get their happy ever after.
Ryo intended to take this ride wherever it might lead, right to the end of the road, and if there was another stage of existence beyond life, maybe even further. Eternity with Dee still wouldn’t be enough.
