As the vehicle swept along the winding road, without realising he was doing it, Ryo leaned to one side and then the other, trying to see further ahead. If their vacation in England had taught him anything it was that you could never be sure what might be blocking the road just around the next bend; a car coming the other way, a tractor, a herd of sheep or cows…
Beside him on the sofa, Dee snorted with laughter. “Sit still, will ya? No matter how far ya lean you’ll never see more than the TV cameras are pickin’ up!”
