It's hard to be head over heels for someone who barely acknowledges your existence, but JJ is with the right person at once. Now he just needs to convince Drake.

That was lovely. I liked the flow of JJ going from the one wanted to be loved to the giving love. It shows how much he has grown.

What they wanted and needed in a partner was way too different. I feel like a lot of it on JJ's side was confusing physical attraction with emotional connection.

Yes, I think that's a good point. Few people could look at a gorgeous hunk like Dee and not want to dag him off to bed, but Dee and JJ's personalities would never have meshed on a romantic level. Drake is a much better fit for JJ.
