“I’m sorry!” Dee apologised yet again. “I didn’t know it would do that!”
“It’s fine, Dee, it’s not your fault. How could you be expected to know when I didn’t?”
Ryo’s reply didn’t make Dee feel any better about the situation as Ryo lay on the bed, twitching uncomfortably. The antihistamines the doctor had prescribed were starting to help, the reddened welts on his body were slowly beginning to go down, but they still itched like crazy. Dee dabbed cool, soothing lotion on another one and Ryo sighed at the small relief it provided.
“If I’d known, I never would’ve bought that stuff, I just thought it would be fun, a turn-on…” Dee trailed off miserably. He’d had such plans for pampering his baby this weekend; a luxurious bubble bath, a sensual full-body massage, followed by a night of passion… They’d never got to the passion part though. Five minutes into the massage, Ryo had suffered an allergic reaction to something in the tingling massage lotion Dee had bought online. It was supposed to stimulate and arouse, but instead it had brought Ryo’s back and buttocks out in raw, itchy wheals, like he’d been beaten or something. The trip to the ER had not been fun for either of them. Dee was just thankful he hadn’t started the massage in a more intimate area.
“It’s the thought that counts,” Ryo said.
“Yeah, not so sure about that right now.” Dee kept on dabbing, trying to make his lover less uncomfortable. “That’s the last time I ever buy anything online, and in future I’m gonna patch test everything on you before usin’ it. No way am I puttin’ you through anything like this again.”
“Probably sensible,” Ryo agreed. “We don’t need tingling oil anyway. You make me tingle all by yourself.”
