A/N: This one’s a double drabble.
Ryo sometimes thought if Dee’s mind were any more open everything would fall out. It wasn’t that Ryo himself had a closed mind or anything like that, he hoped he was free of prejudice, but he knew that compared to his partner he was… conservative and restrained.
Dee wasn’t really an exhibitionist, or Ryo didn’t think he was, but he also wasn’t bothered if people saw them kissing or even making out, whereas if anyone walked in on them Ryo was more inclined to push his lover away and blush scarlet. As if that would make anyone believe they hadn’t actually seen what they thought they’d seen.
It had nothing to do with Ryo being ashamed of his and Dee’s relationship; all their friends knew they were together and could guess, if they cared to, what they got up to in private. Ryo simply wasn’t comfortable with being looked at. Their friends knowing was one thing; seeing was a whole other kettle of fish. Some things should be private, not on display for the whole world to see. If that made Ryo a prude, then so be it. He just wasn’t as outgoing as Dee and probably never would be.
