Mum's soaps drive me mad, I often have to leave the room. It's no wonder kids behave so badly, they use soap characters as role models =(
I love wearing pink (and red, and blue... not green though, I look dreadful in most greens!) I had a bunch of aran wool, not enough in any of the colours for a jumper, so I made these. I was really pleased with the way they turned out.
I swear, I dragged at least 40 hand knitted jumpers, tops, cardigans etc. out of my wardrobe, many of them I'd forgotten about! There are 4 cardigans that don't even have buttons yet because I haven't found any I like enough. I'll have to remedy that - one is of the softest salmon pink wool ever, it was lovely to knit but I haven't worn it yet because... no buttons!
Haha! Everyone seems to like the pink one! The colours didn't come out in the photos as well as I'd hoped, they look better in sunlight but yesterday there was no sun at all! I do love to knit =)
These are gorgeous! I'm a huge fan of cables and I just adore these. I can't even pick a favourite. You are one talented lady! :D I'm so glad to finally be able to see some of your knitting!
Glad you like them! I wasn't sure I could figure out how to post photos, but somehow I managed! Not sure how many I can put on my journal at one time though.
I photographed a few other, might put some of them up another time. I'll try to photograph a couple of my picture knits and email photos to you at some point. Clearing out my wardrobe, I found things I'd forgotten all about - I have four cardigans that still need buttons!
These four I was very pleased with. They're made of aran wool and should look great over a cream aran jumper, but I'd have to knit a new one as the old one's looking very shabby, and I don't have any cream aran wool. Still, they go well over blouses and plain jumpers and they're quite cosy!
I will, I will, honest, just as soon as I have the time and energy to get back over there. Everything's still in chaos here, the insurance company has dithered between underpinning my ceiling or completely replacing it - replacement has been decided on finally, so I've had to empty all my fitted cupboards as well as shifting everything else from there. I'll move the final bits, including the plants on the windowsill tomorrow, then we'll see when they start the work
