A/N: This one’s a double drabble.
The air in the bedroom was heavy with the smell of sweat and sex, but Dee didn’t care; it was his apartment so there was nobody around who’d care anyway, let alone complain. He sprawled half on the bed and half on the floor, where his legs had dumped him when they’d given out. Ryo was mostly on the bed, looking flushed and dazed, his skin damp and his hair sticking to his forehead. Although he appeared to be staring up at the ceiling, Dee doubted he was seeing anything, except maybe stars.
Ryo had only been gone for three days, a quick trip to DC to testify on a case he’d worked with Diana Spacey a few months earlier, but to Dee it had felt like a lifetime. It was good to have his baby back.
“Welcome home, babe.”
Rolling onto his side on the third attempt, his body probably feeling as limp and floppy as Dee’s did, Ryo blinked owlishly at him, a slightly confused expression on his face. “I thought you said we were going out for dinner.”
Dee couldn’t keep the satisfied smirk off his face. “Change of plans; dinner’s gonna have to come to us.”
