Summary: Bikky can’t believe how technologically primitive the world was when Ryo was his age.

A/N: Double drabble.
“You know, we didn’t even have mobile phones when I was a kid,” Ryo told Bikky, who was bemoaning not being allowed to use his during dinner.
The boy’s eyes went wide with disbelief. “You’re kidding!”
“Nope.” Ryo shook his head. “There were no such things as games consoles or home computers or iPods either.”
“But…” Bikky spluttered. “How’d you keep in touch with your friends? Or listen to music? Or search the Internet?”
Ryo laughed. “We used our home phones to talk to our friends, played records and cassettes on our stereos, listened to the radio… As for the Internet, that didn’t come along until some genius invented a computer small enough, and cheap enough to make, that people could have one in their own homes.”
“Must’ve been awful!”
“You can’t miss what you’ve never known, Biks. I remember my parents buying me a Walkman when I was about your age; I thought it was the most amazing thing ever.”
“What’s a Walkman?”
“Sort of like the old-fashioned equivalent of an iPod, only it was powered by batteries and it played audiocassettes. I took mine everywhere with me.”
Bikky frowned. “iPod’s are better.”
Ryo smiled. “I guess they are.”
