*sighs* was hoping it was the beginning of some kinky DS game they could play after hours! All you need to do is obey, Jack. Just that. Nothing else. Ianto will handle the rest.

Maybe you should write your idea ;)

Thank you!

Yay! Go for it!

In fact, feel free anytime one of my drabbles sparks an idea for how it might have gone. Love to see what you might come up with!

Some people would be scared by that proposition! I just need to keep more up to date. I was shocked to find I was three months behind in reading these! May through July have just been hellish for writing!

I'm in the same boat, reading wise, I've been struggling to keep up with writing and I have so many of yours I haven't read yet. Hopefully I can find time soon, I miss reading, but what with finding time for gardening and cross stitch it's reading that's getting left =(

I wouldn't hand carte blanche to just anyone ;)

I feel honored, lol! Today was the first day I felt semi caught up with all my challenges. Being sick hasn't helped so I was trying to rest and read at the same time. Most of my reading time has been taken up by a book club I started at work. I have to stay one book ahead of everyone else so there's a new one ready to go (because I don't want to suggest a book that's rubbish). I want to get my beads box back out as well and maybe skip the odd challenge here and there to free up some time. No more major projects in line for August now that wintercompanion is done and contest week out of the way. Fingers crossed!

Good luck with your non-writing projects. What sort of bead things do you make? Are you going to post pics?

The book club sounds cool. What are you reading at the moment?

Feel better soon *wraps you in a blanket with a warm Fluff*

Thanks. I used to make all kinds of beaded jewelry - earrings, bracelets, necklaces, fancy bookmarks. I'd buy supplies at trade fairs and wholesalers (you know, in the good old days when I used to leave the house and have a life). I have two huge crates of stuff, and a ton of things I'd made with the intention of selling but never did. I just give them away as gifts now to people who appreciate the work that goes into them (thus why I have a collection that grows rather than shrinks ( ... )

Ugh, you can really do without tooth woes. Hope the problem can be rectified without too much having to be done.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning so I plan to post the new tw100 prompt this evening.

I used to make earrings, the dangly kind, and have more than 200 pairs I was going to sell at craft fairs, but the one time I went to one, I sold maybe three pairs. Also made bouncy spiders and knitted mice, but I've ended up giving those away at Halloween.

Your book choices sound interestingly varied, although I've never heard of either. Then again I mainly read SF, which probably isn't the best choice for a book club with a varied group of people.

Sounds like you've found a good place to do your catch-ups. A Devonshire tea sounds glorious. I had some lovely holidays in Devon when I was in my teens and could still go places. I remember the scones with real clotted cream with great fondness.

I know what you mean. I have stacks and stacks of earrings which is ironic since I've never had pierced ears, but they're easy to make and look pretty.
I'm trying to stick to general fiction for book club which means trawling bookclub websites for reccs and I'm also signed up to an online book store that send weekly newsletters. When I see something of interest I take a photo of that cover and the synopsis on my phone and check them out later. For my own interests I still lean towards crime/fantasy/thriller genres and am rekindling my love of a good supernatural thriller and snaffling up second hand copies of James Herbert books. I always laugh at the reference to The Fog in Torchwood. It's so dated it's more amusing than a good read these days. :)

I have two piercings in each ear, but almost always just where my studs, lol!

General fiction is definitely best for a book club.

I have quite a few James Herbert books. It always amused me in my copy of Moon that towards the end as things got more exciting, moon kept gaining more 'o's. I guess the typesetter got a bit carried away!
