No, it was the David Bowie song.

I guess he wanted to remain not too far from Buffy in case he was needed, but far enough to remove himself from temptation.

Not one of the more famous ones, but I prompted 'David Bowie Songs' on my drabble community, and all are fair game to use as prompts, so I dug into some of the more obscure titles.

I think Buffy said LA was like 2 hours away, so close but not too close.
