A/N: This one’s a triple drabble.
The remnants of the winter’s snow had finally melted and spring had settled over New York at last, and where did a young man’s fancy turn at this particular time of year? Dee smirked in anticipation.
“Dee, what are you doing? Get off me!” Ryo struggled against Dee’s taller, heavier frame. There was no Bikky here to save him this time, but Ryo managed to free himself anyway, partly due to falling off the sofa so Dee lost his grip and got an inadvertent knee to the nose.
“Dammit, Ryo!” Dee clutched his nose, eyes watering. “You could’a just said no!”
“Since when has that ever worked with you?” Ryo grumbled, picking himself up off the floor. “I’ve said no a hundred times and yet you still pounce on me whenever the mood strikes you!”
“I do not! I’ll have you know I think about it all the time but mostly I manage to restrain myself!” Dee’s voice was muffled by his hands, and tight with pain.
“I didn’t mean to hurt you, I’m sorry. I’ll get some ice for your nose.” Ryo turned away and hurried into the kitchen, busying himself with digging an icepack out of the freezer in an attempt to hide how flustered he felt. Had Dee been serious? It seemed likely, considering what a horndog he was. So what did that mean? That Dee only pounced when he felt he couldn’t control himself in Ryo’s presence any longer? ‘Do I drive him that wild?’ That was a scary thought. ‘What would happen if I let him have his way?’ A tide of warmth spread through Ryo’s body and he hurriedly pushed that thought back down. ‘No, don’t go there, you’re not ready for that yet,’ he told himself firmly.
Not ready yet, but maybe soon.
