Leaning on the rail of the Staten Island Ferry, Dee and Ryo gaze out across the water, playing tourists in their own city. They don’t get to do things like this often, police-work is a full time job and Ryo has Bikky to take care of too, but sometimes on a day off or a weekend, they’ll indulge themselves with a bit of sightseeing.
There’s a fresh breeze off the water, blowing their hair about, and taking the edge off the summer heat. Despite being surrounded by other passengers, both natives and tourists, they’re in a world of their own.
