Ryo trusts his colleagues, and knows JJ will always do what's right. after all, JJ is one of the best in the business, all he needed was an opening.

I love how this is a rescue, but with Ryo being an active participant. It is a moment where JJ shines, but we also see how much Ryo has faith in JJ's skill and professional attitude behind the gun.

Dee would probably say that Ryo trusts too easily, but being a sniper himself, in some ways Ryo understands JJ better than Dee ever will.

JJ is too much of a professional to give in to momentary whims, and I believe he does like Ryo, even though he's also jealous of him. It makes for a complicated work relationship, but neither man allows it to get in the way of doing their job.

I would love to see a fic with JJ and Ryo starting to connect/become friends over the sniper personality that does not involve Dee or Drake. Just the two of them working their way through preconceived ideas of each other to come to an understanding/acceptance/liking of each other.

I'll make a note about that for future reference - you never know, it might spark inspiration one of these days! I save all suggestions, can never have too many ideas.
