I really liked this story showing Owen and Ianto like this, I wish theyd gotten on better in the series.

I like to think they did, but just squabbled a lot, like brothers. They snark at each other, but there's an underlying affection. That's how I like to write them anyway.

I really enjoyed this - when Owen forgets to be a bastard he's really quite a good bloke.

He can be, when he tries. I think it helped that it was just the two of them and Ianto was more relaxed than usual because he was tired.
