what the flip!?!
this afternoon was awesome.
this morning) slept in wicked late, cleaned, called a million people, and practiced.
around 3 i headed over to cor's to "do homework" (hey, i finished history). we Rushed to seekonk at 5 - thank goodness for our time cushion- and met jake at the theater. now, i hadn't met jake before. i'd talked with him a few times, and had heard only good things, but we get there and he's Paid For My Ticket. i couldn't believe it. movie tickets are too expensive as it is... what a nice guy! we ran into a bunch of mb guys (names are escaping me) who all seemed very nice.
napoleon dynamite. what is there to say? it's gotta be the coolest movie i've seen in a long time. i laughed so hard, and it was exactly what i needed. the stressful week just disappeared, i was "weightless, floating in the ocean with a million little seahorses". too many quotes, but just know, "our love is great, you make me salivate..."
homework brought me back to the sad reality that there's this thing called monday that's rolling around... gosh, i hate mondays. and the fact that max isn't concertmaster anymore will make them all the more unbearable. may and julien help though... and mrs. culpo. my lifesaver!
anyway, it's back to the books for a last hurrah before bed. then church tomorrow, a cruise on the "madeline" out of newport, dinner at clingstone, and then my english project til about 3 monday morning... what a way to start the week.
i'll just remember napoleon dancing whenever i'm stressed... ;)
