life is good.
i don't know that i have ever been this at peace before school starts.
am i done with my summer reading? no. will i be by the time we start classes? no. will this be apparent? most likely.
am i stressed? not in the least.
there are those 48 hour stretches where everything just works. click click click.
had one of those. although with its slight ups and downs, nh (and even more so the trip up and back) was awesome. seeing micah and hannah was sweet, considering i was pretty sure it wasn't gonna happen.

picture albums, hiding behind curtains, and ice cream... always ice cream. i don't even know what to say about you 2. i know you'll both probably read this eventually, but i just don't know how to describe how much i needed to see you both. you're such an encouragement for me, and i feel so refreshed.

it's an amazing thing. "when two or more are gathered..." being with you is always fun, and no matter where we are (shaw's, one way streets, coffee shop) or what we're doing (looking for tape, going the wrong way, reading a smoker's paper) you can make me smile. wow, enough on that. i'll talk to you both later.

school starts wednesday, and i can't wait to see the girls! what a year this'll be. all the traditions, applications, testing, coffee breaks, newspaper marathons, and of course as many trips as possible up north to visit those crazy ipswichers. you guys blow me away.
