Things that have made today a very good day off:
- sleeping in until 2:30 pm.
- wrestling in bed.
- spectacular weather that is making me a happy little ball of smiles.
- super high-powered blow dryers that dry my hair in like 5 minutes.
- David dancing around in his new tiny leopard print manties.
- getting my grocery shopping done.
- coming home and vegging out to The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and Seinfeld reruns while eating delicious sushi.
- Stephen Colbert.
- the word "newt".
- the acoustic bassline in "Add It Up" by the Violent Femmes.
- the Violent Fucking Femmes, period.
- a clean apartment and a happy kitty.
- calling my kitty "Meowses" (like Moses. get it? GET IT?).
Things that are putting a damper on a very good day off:
- the Tic Tac spokesgirl.
- getting splashed by cars driving by while waiting for the bus. a-holes.
- tampons.
- when people knock on my neighbours door and it sounds like they're knocking on my door because they are side-by-side, and it makes me all paranoid wondering who the hell is here.
- deciding against picking up a bottle of wine at the liquor store, for some weird reason.
