Closing Time....
I almost forgot I had this account till earlier today...Its been since my birthday of last year that I even posted anything, and truthfully, this journal is irrelevant to my life. First and foremost, I'm no longer an Abbott. No more will I be asked if I'm related to Bud, Tank, or Darrell (which I am related to two, guess which ones). I no longer consider myself down on my luck either. I still have bad days, but my relationships have changed mostly for the better. All in all, I'm not really the person I used to be. Its funny how things can change in just one year.
Before, I kept a private journal, privy only to my mind and the friend that had known me the longest. Slowly, I let the man I now call my husband read there too. A former friend and lover also found his way to that journal where he found out the harsh truth that things were truly over with us, and that I had fallen in love. Since he disappeared from my life, I've learned a lot of things about my life, one of the biggest ones, being true to yourself and the people you love.
