Claim a Blaise and suggest a pairing if you wish and you will get a short ficlety thing of joy. As a Blaise is claimed he will be crossed off the list.
Nicorette, Nicorette, You Can Beat the Cigarette!badlieutenantApril 15 2006, 21:08:29 UTC
Those damn adverts were everywhere. Blaise was beginning to develop a twitch every time he saw them. And it wasn't just the adverts that were making him twitch, or the stupid advertising jingle that went with them - he could hear a legion of anti-smoking dwarves chanting 'No, Blaise, No! No, Blaise, No!' and waving pom-poms and banners with anti-smoking signs on them in his head. He'd heard that some people dreamt of underpant gnomes, well, Blaise - he dreamt of anti-smoking dwarves.
He stuffed another piece of the Nicorette gum into his mouth, scowled at the taste. It was neither - as the packet claimed - tasty nor refreshing, and it did not kill the craving for a real, honest to Merlin cigarette. Preferably a Sobranie. Though right now, he'd settle for one of those cheap and nasty penny-cigarettes. Anything with real nicotine, not this...anti-nicotine-nicotine.
Damn you, Nicorette, he thought, shaking his fist at another billboard with a brightly smiling woman saying how Nicorette had helped her quit smoking in 21 days. You are the spawn of Satan!
It had been three days, and Blaise had passed the point where the nicotine had left his system and was desperately craving a cigarette. And the bloody patches, the non-cigarette-cigarettes that tasted like sour wheat and the Merlin-awful gum...he was beginning to think that this lot was going to kill off his tastebuds, more so than any cigarette ever could.
Why was he doing this again? Oh, right. A dare. He scowled. Ginny Weasley, he thought, chewing furiously on the gum, you'll get yours, just you wait! As soon as I can think of a fucking suitable dare for you!
The happily smiling woman on the anti-smoking poster continued to smile at him and Blaise poked his tongue out at her and scowled.

And then when he totally kicked the smokes and went to her to tell her, all proud like, she would just laugh because she never meant really meant for him to do it and only said it to be mean. hahaha! I should do Ginny Weasley dares except that 99% of fandom hates her so much that no one would take me up on it.

He would be so, so mad--and that would just make her laugh even harder. She'd be all like, "Dude!1! You took me *seriously*?!!??11!? You went through all that hell just for a *dare*???!!!!????!11!! You are *so* a Gryffindor and you don't even know it."
