Harry Potter release parties . . . ?

Are there any Harry Potter book-release parties in the tri-state (OH/KY/IN) area this weekend? I went to one at Borders back when book 4 was released. It wasn't bad, even though I was definitely a lot older than others in attendance. I heard about some place where they actually make an area up to look like Diagon Alley . . . sort of like a Harry ( Read more... )

I bet Lara would remember where that place was. I remember her mentioning it. :)

You could try calling Books & Co. in Dayton and see what they've got planned.. they're a division of the company I work for (Books-A-Million) and all our stores (to my knowledge) have midnight parties planned.

The two best ones are in Wilmington, OH and Hudson, OH. I've been researching this for work. Wizarding Wilmington is awesome! Google it and the info will come... ;)

Thanks sooooooooooooooooooooo much for posting this! I was reading the comments to Katies post and saw yours. I found the link by googling and this is soooooooooo much better than what we were planning.

Joseph Beth in Norwood sounds like they may be doing the most stuff. I have never been to one, so not positive, but I was looking it up. I pondered going to one of those, but not sure I will.

my friend and i are going to the joseph beth one in norwood. it sounds like a ton of fun and a lot to do!
