Wow it's been a million years since I've used live journal. I can't believe how much has happened in the time between posts, but I know everyone is pretty much updated.
Right now Greg is in Kuwait(sp??). I can't believe he's on the other side of the world. It seems so different when it's just somebody else's boyfriend/husband. But when it's your man thats got a ten hour time difference, it feels like you might as well be on two separate planets.
I hope he has a lot of wonderful experiences though, I really do. I want him to come back and feel like he really achieved something wonderful, and made a difference--after all, isn't that why he's over there? I mean you can make all the arguments in the world about why we have a war going on over there, (frankly I don't care anymore) but God has a complete purpose for those men and women being on foreign soil(which is likely a totally different reason from the earthly leader sending them..).
All I know, is for the sorrow and loneliness there is in being an army wife/girl, there is so much pride. I cannot express to you all how much I love my husband, or how incredibly proud I am of him for his sacrifice.
Just remember to pray for him, he should be flying out of Kuwait soon, and into Afghanistan. We'll just have to see how often I get to talk to him for updates. :)
