Dear System Administrators

I understand the reasoning behind having passwords. I also understand the reasoning for having a screening system to ensure people don't choose the names of their children or pets or their birthdays. However, rejecting 9 of of 10 of my randomly made up passwords because they aren't "strong enough" doesn't help anything. When I finally make up something random enough to pass your silly filter, I am only encouraged to write the password down on a sticky note and keep it in my wallet with "PASSWORD FOR ACCOUNT 3" in big letters, because there is no way I am going to remember it. Forcing me to redo this process every 30 days is insult to injury, and reinforces the need for me to write the password down.
