so this was ALL over twitter earlier today and I finally got home to read it and O M F G if it isn't the best thing EVER! Superb writing, amazing plot and characters that could be canon (well - the headcanon to us all that is merthur)
EVERYBODY WAS RIGHT ABOUT THIS IT IS INSANE! its a post alien invasion fic with arthur being all brave and noble and gaius is gorgeous and merlin is that blend of sarcastic and tender and gwaine is that perfect amount of comic relief/awesome and gwen is LIKEABLE (and mostly i dislike her in fic..)

Prompt given: It didn’t work out because: There was an alien invasion and they wanted to work for two different factions of the resistance
This time it will work out because: Years later, when an intel mission throws them together again, they realise they never stopped loving each other (even -and maybe especially - people with alien brains on their shoes need a happy ending)
