I saw a little rumbling about Eoin Macken and twitter earlier this afternoon (its 9pm here) and figured - hey, Eoin is being his awesome self again. And then THIS pops up when I get home

with a tag about Eoin getting bashed by Merthur shippers because he agrees with what they're saying to a point.

THEN - because, honestly, like most of us in the Merlin fandom, I've grown even more endeared to Eoin PURELY because of his candidness and absolutely hilarious tweets (especially those between he and the Merlin cast) - I check his twitter and

Its a ghost town like Bradleys.

I has a major sad.

Why can't we just let these actors have their bit of fun? Why is it they have to be utterly professional even in their private time? Is it so bad when we see a little more of their real sides that we feel the urge to rant and rave and have THEM feel as if they've given too much away and take it all back again, retreating to only the few and also famous that get to know them as normal people?

I am utterly saddened by this. Another perfectly good (and so funny) human being having to restrict themselves PURELY because some fangirls take things a step too far and peoples toes get tread on.

Grow up or get out.
