Movie Review - The Fighter
I went into this expecting to not only LIKE but to LOVE it.
I mean, its my favorite things:

Set in a New England AWESOME ACCENT town

Fighting/some sort of sport where the lead character read Mark Wahlberg is fit and half naked a lot
and Mark Wahlberg is the lead character!
Imagine my utter dismay that it didn't even get an emotion out of me. Oh okay, maybe one.

it gave me a wicked case of the Meh's. I didn't feel any type of love for Micky "no e" Ward and I didn't even LIKE Christian Bale's emaciated and drug addicted brother Dicky. The fight scenes could have been great. But weren't. There was no buildup of relationship between Micky and the (quite gorgeous may I add) girlfriend Charlene/Amy Adams. There was no.. there was just no CHEMISTRY between the characters and then because of that me, the audience.
ONE thing I liked... Micky's MASSIVE almost hillbilly family. The bitch fight was EPIC (see video at the end).
For me? 1.5/5 and that .5 is for Mark's half naked body that was the only reason I kept watching after 40 minutes.
