chris wallace and i share a birthday, most unfortunately for me and libras everywhere.) a few cool/important people died on october 12: john denver, robert e. lee, nancy spungen (of "sid & ..." fame), matthew shephard.
my boyfriend's got a cool story about the day of his birth: that very day, jean-paul sartre died. those so inclined (the superstitious, romantic, and/or just plain weird (count me in that last category)) might see some sort of symbolic meaning in this coincidence, a kind of passing-of-the-torch even.
