a ¿review? of sorts

i'm finally going to give this album a chance. maybe its not as awful as i think it is. zombie apocalypse did a pretty good version of "welcome to the jungle." haste. i used to like this band a lot. i stopped listening after their last album came out. their version of "you're crazy" reminds me of turmoil for some reason. i still can't believe i missed turmoil at wacky's. well, i wouldn't have if they hadn't been no-shows at the three previous shows. shows. shows. i'd never heard of Vaux until listening to this album. i wish i hadn't. way to AIDS a song, guys. UNEARTH! oh man. they are definitely one of my favorite bands. it would've been awesome if they played this song, live. "what song?" you ask. "It's So Easy." SO FUCKING EASY. oh wait. what's this? actual singing? hmmmm.. oh well. i still like this song. br00tal breakdownz 'n' shit. "nightrain" used to be a good song. then, break the silence ruined it. hey guys. you lose forever. i remember when i couldn't stand death by stereo. "anything goes" huh? worst. song. and. band. ever. oh wow. most precious blood covering "sweet child o' mine." this should be good. although, i don't like mpb's vocals, this song is pretty decent. *be's skipping to the next track* time in malta - "november rain" sounds good so far. still sounding decent. i think i like what i hear. yeah. i do. i just wish they'd record their vocal tracks a little louder. ATTENTION: The Dillinger Escape Plan. you're nothing without dimitri. change the name already. "my michelle" is too great of a song for your mediocre attitude problem singer to scream. where do i start with eighteen visions? i used to like them. then, vanity came out. woah. they actually made "paradise city" sound pretty good. no screaming or shouting. wait. there's a scream. i guess that's that. every time i die? more like every time we cover a song we fuck it up and no one seems to care. "i used to love her" WAS a fun song. god forbid's version of "out ta get me" reminds me of some old nyc punk with shitty vocals. wait. nevermind. now it sounds like shitty metalcore with wait wait. jesus guys. stop it! i'm trying to explain the sound and you keep fucking changing it. oh well. good song. if i had to chose one song that would be forever cleared from my memory it would be bleeding through's cover of "rocket queen." that's all i have to say about that. i had always put off listening to the beautiful mistake. now, i know why. maybe they'd sound better to me if they picked a song other than "estranged." shit reminds me of some kind of generic poppy punk with snotty operator singing. way to end an album.
