Yesterday we went to the air show at
Selfridge Air National Guard base. They hold this air show every other year sort of as an open house for the community to come and meet the military staff on base see vintage and modern aircraft along with loads of vendors and displays both interactive and visual.
We go every year and make a day of it, you can bring in chairs if you wish and wagons for the kids if need be. They do not allow coolers but if you are carrying in your refreshments in your hand, they will not make you dispose of it, so we all grab a bottle of water and stick a granola bar or something similar in our pocket so that we have something for later.
I of course bring my camera and I am always humbled each year by the other photographers and their equipment that makes my camera pale in comparison. But I have a better than normal camera so I am still always satisfied with the pics I take and one day I will have one of those cameras that makes other people jealous.

I leave you with these photos because I have to leave for the day to go to a different type of airshow, a radio controlled airshow (lamefest, lol) My dad flies a r/c plane and this is their summer picnic/open house show. So I am off. If the
real airshow interested you at all, I am going to link you to some information about it, read if you feel like it, don't read if you don't. Simple as that! Have a good one and I will be posting more photos later
