the complex conversations of politics & chick flicks
i'm still editing my photos. so many to go through, so little time to edit and colour correct. some are blurry and not too bright like yours truly. London and Prague. Vietnam and Kuala Lumpur. airplanes, trains and boats. fall, winter, spring and summer and around again. i have been on more planes in those 2.5 weeks of vacation than i have been in past 5 yrs. it's also sad to say that i went through Heathrow Airport 6 times and only spent a little over 24 hours in London.
i miss hanging with my best friend who know maybe about 75% of my thoughts or what's going on... the other 25% is left unsaid because even i don't know them or have simply... forgotten.
one of the things i miss the most is the ease of meeting new people and striking up conversations. whether its politics, life in general or chick flicks sometimes you make a connection and other times you don't and i wonder if such connections can last over time or if they just merely meant to be for those brief moments. a something special to be remembered forever or forgotten and faded over time like a favourite pair of jeans.
the motion of the cities, the murmurs of the people and the endless fascination of seeing things in a different light leaves you wanting more. hopefully, you can join me next time.
