I've seen three different doctors already and all of them ask me what caused this. That's a rather strange question don't you think? It's not like it's something really curiously outrageous like if a metal rod went through my thigh or if I lost an arm, then I suppose that question would be somewhat relevant.
I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW WHAT CAUSED THIS.
It's mainly a long list of could-be's. It could've been caused by the horrendously stifling combat boots which are part of my uniform, which I have to wear every day for 9 hours a day throughout the 5 day work week. It could be because I've got flat feet. It could be because I've got sweaty feet. Oh the list goes on.
All I know is that I bleed and produce pus incontinently. I am told repeatedly to "keep it dry", which is a challenge really because of all the amazing yellow fluid flowing freely from each wound, and whenever it does get dry, it stings and hurts like a motherfucker. It's like, "Queen Vaginus had a fit and bled on my foot," to quote what I tell all my friends when they ask.
So, daily life becomes quite difficult. I used to cover it up with multiple bandages so at least I could walk, or rather limp around, but now that I've been told to keep it dry, I've got no choice but to either hop around on one foot, or use only the heel portion of my left foot to get around. Which is why I'm not going back to work until I fully recover. I will slowly make my way to the polyclinic to get my free MC no matter how rude polyclinic doctors are!
