Ah, I can now get on with my life.
I suddenly realize I have so much planned for December. Waya and I are giving Turn Turn Turn, our online magazine, a major revamp and I'm excited about that. I have
my school's recital on the 28th and I'm excited about that. And in between there's making the souvenir programme, constructing the anniversary exhibit, rehearsals, writing and writing and more writing. And of course I have yet to revise my thesis proposal/introduction and my class syllabi. Can you say my plate is full? Say it with me! Joelle's plate is full!
(Why is it cute when Dora the Explorer does it?)
I suppose it may seem super full now because all I did last month was NaNoWriMo. Hehe, bad girl, indeed. This is part of the reason why I'm not nanowrimo-ing next year, it takes too much of your time and everything else is warping in the hot backseat. Also, I don't think my calling is to write novels, or any kind of long fiction. Honestly, I don't think my novel is brilliant at all. It may have its moments, but nanowrimo has helped me realize that I'm a better non-fiction writer. Or maybe, that's just where my life is going at this moment.
Oh, and there's Christmas. I'm also excited about Christmas!
Since I've been scanning photos of old recitals for the programme and the exhibit (and in case you've only just tuned in, my ballet school is having its 25th anniversary concert this month, yay!), thought I'd post some here every now and then. This is me, walking around in the gown (probably looking for someone to close the back for me) I'm to wear to Prince Charming's ball.
Cinderella, December 2002
No, I'm not Cinderella. I'm her evil stepsister! I played the ditzy one. Of course, typecast!!!
It's gonna be a good rest of the year, yes it is.
