you know what, if you had bet against me that i wouldn't be able to do any note-taking today, you would have won. hee.
so this is what i did today, or technically yesterday, and there was no note-taking in sight:
1. I uploaded my articles for
Turn Turn Turn, this online magazine my friends and I have put up. I am in charge of *drumroll* the MUSIC SECTION! Woohoo, isn't that a surprise? ,P Sarcasm aside, I think I'm quite getting the hang of it, as I've posted two articles that I originally didn't want to write. Check it out for yourself:
Clicker here for Rockestra. Click here for Wolfgang Night.
That pretty much took the entire day. Hey, you try writing two articles and see what it's like.
2. I downloaded music. I've discovered I like The Weakerthans, some Killers, some Death Cab for Cutie, and I love Franz Ferdinand. And I'm having the hardest time finding Rise & Shine and Who Cares from Extreme's epic III Sides to Every Story. You'd think Extreme was well-liked back in the day, right?
OOOOOH and I also got STP covering Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar On Me (hi quark! ;P ). DAAAAAAMN. You don't even see him and Weiland is still so hot. *wiping fevered brow* (oh, hi mikah! ;P )
3. I watched a DVD of a ballet concert featuring Nina Ananiashvili and Farukh Ruzimatov dancing the Don Quixote pas de deux. People find it hard to believe that I've never danced the Don Quixote pas de deux ever yet. Let us stress "yet." La, I have to remember to text you to bring the Misha Don Q DVD the next time we go out. Which is when?
4. I napped. Which was probably a bad idea because it was a hot afternoon I woke up with an almost headache, which turned into a real headache as I was showering. Thank goodness it disappeared after the bath. I want someone to explain those to me, they seem to be the bane of my existence every hot day, which is almost always.
5. I YMed someone. Hee hee hee.
Speaking of the Devil, I have a song I feel like singing:
"TONAAAAAAHT... IT'S BEEN A YEEEEEAR... we met each other here..."
and we had no clue. Noooo clue at all. Even the tarot didn't know, all the Deja Deck told me was I was going to go on an unexpected ride and I had better hold on. And what a ride it turned out to be, no?
